Dolly Varden. Big lunkers await you in the Columbia
River, with easily accessible shore fishing.
Whether you are looking for an easy hike up a well
maintained trail, or an extreme adventure climbing a
rock face or glacier, we have something for you!
Heli-Hiking is a fun way to explore pristine alpine
areas not otherwise easily accessible.
Revelstoke has a large network of mountain biking trails,
for every skill level! Hundreds if miles of trails await
you. You can even drop your bike off at the top of Mount
Revelstoke, and coast back down a scenic paved road 27
km back to town.
The mountains around Revelstoke provide almost unlimited
ATV riding opportunities. Several local adventure
companies offer guided ATV tours, an exciting and safe
way to explore our magnificent mountains.
Canoe or kayak down one of our many creeks and rivers.
Kayak tours are a great way to explore the quiet,
natural beauty of our crystal clear lakes. Go for a
gentle paddle down the Columbia River or something more
challenging, such as the Illecillewaet or Goldstream
Rivers. Bring your boat or watercraft and enjoy the
scenic and uncrowded lakes and beaches of the area.
Blast through the rapids on a guided whitewater rafting
adventure. Choose a more gentle section of the river or
shoot the rapids on an extreme adventure to remember.
Take an aerial tour of the spectacular mountains &
glaciers of the Revelstoke area. Tours are available in
both helicopters and fixed wing aircraft.
A wide variety of birds and other wildlife are available
for viewing along the wetlands of the Columbia River,
the Greenbelt, and both Mt. Revelstoke and Glacier
National Parks.
